How to commission art

I can paint any subject for you from your photos including pet portraits, equine, children, formal portraits, landscape and nudes.
I work in several mediums, watercolour, oils, gouache, pastel and coloured and graphite pencil, to suit the subject matter and the clients personal taste.

Artwork can be produced in any size to suit your requirements. The most popular sizes are A4, 10"x12", 12"x16" and 16"x20".

Prices reflect the length of time a portrait takes to complete and size. Add 10% for more than one subject in a portrait or a complex background.

No deposit is required and prices include packaging and delivery by registered post. Lead time is normally three weeks although this can vary and will be confirmed when you place your order.

In the order form let me know any details about the your artwork including size requirements.

I will contact you next working day and at this point you can send me your subject photo or photos as jpegs and I can confirm any details, price and expected delivery date. I am always happy to discuss anything about your commission and to view your subject images before starting work on your order to ensure that I have as much information as possible.

Once your artwork is complete I will send a low resolution jpeg of the whole artwork and also a high resolution detail jpeg to your email address for your approval. Any changes can be made at this point and a further jpeg image can be sent to you for approval. If you are happy with your artwork, payment will be requested via paypal and upon receipt of your payment your artwork will be posted to you.
